This late 1910s to early 1920s dress was made from a semi sheer buttermilk cotton lawn with elaborate Irish crochet lace sleeves, body and along the hem. Gorgeously delicate filet lace complements the heavy texture of the Irish lace, with stunning floral embroidery at the sides and center front/back of the skirt. This amazing dress features the classic drop waist of the era and a very loose fit, with side hip pleating that offers a bit of shape and extra texture. It is unquestionably a one of a kind, very special piece that could best be summarized as wearable art. There is no piece of this dress that is without detail.
