This antique 1920s chemise by Dainty Maid was made from a rich tea rose pink silk material that feels heavenly against the skin. Straight cut at the chest with a loose fit that provides the iconic silhouette of the era. Gorgeous mint green gores in the skirt and edging across the neckline gives a lovely contrast, with faggoted stitching around each section that gives a subtle yet delightful bit of detail. A little rosette rests off-center on the chest, while two itty bitty little pink ones connect gathered fabric at the hips. This cheeky little slip falls just a few inches below the derriere and is completed with two-toned silk ribbon straps.

Condition
Very good-excellent: Hand washed and steamed. Fabric is strong and stretchy, though there is some significant thinning on the lower back around the seat. Can be patched or darned as this slip is completely suitable for wear. A couple light storage marks on the left side near the waist. Ribbon crotch was removed at some point so there are some tiny stitch holes that remain.
