Antique 1920's Robe | Raw Pongee Silk with Bold Floral Print | Made in Japan | Size Free

Vintage 1920s robe was made in Japan and is an iconic 20s fashion staple. Made of very light, natural raw pongee silk with bold, large hand-painted flowers that adorn its entirety in bright shades of blue, red, green & gold. Very loosely fit with a loose shoulder and wide sleeves falling well below the elbow. A long hem that falls below the knee to about mid-calf, making this perfect for wearing as a traditional robe, light duster in the warmer months, or even a dress with the right underthings and a good belt. Such an exquisite piece of wearable art!

CONDITION :

Excellent: In strong wearable condition with very minimal signs of wear. Colors are still very bright. A few tiny pinholes with one larger that is above a faint grayish mark.
