This antique 1920s Japanese kimono robe is made from a light and airy pongee silk which has a natural and lustrous sheen that lays with the lights beautifully. This iconic dressing gown has a stunning and ultra bright floral print adorning its entirety. A loose, open draped fit that is classic to the era, closing at the right hip with two little attached ties. Long wide sleeves falling to about the mid-forearm give a gorgeous amount of movement as it is being worn. An absolutely must-have for any fan of the roaring 20's.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
