Antique 1920's Garter Brassiere | Pale Powder Pink Cotton Damask | Size 32 Bust, XS | Venus Brassiere Co.
Availability:
This antique 1920s garter brassiere is a very rare lingerie piece by Venus Brassiere Co.. Made of pale powder pink cotton with a diamond damask pattern. Chevron ribbon straps and a smooth, uncupped bust give the classic 20s silhouette. This merrywidow style falls to cover the upper hip with elastic inserts at the sides for comfort which was a rather inventive technique at the time. 4 garter straps fall to about the mid-thigh to hold up your stockings, with elaborately embossed metal clasps similar to those of the previous Edwardian era. This lovely brassiere closes in the back with hidden eye-hooks down the spine, with 2 flexible bones to help narrow the upper back. A very special lingerie piece that is sweetly feminine while still being incredibly sexy.
