This antique 1920s chemise was homemade with love, made from silky mint green satin that offers a gorgeous luster and heavenly drape. Exquisitely detailed ivory Irish lace with little flowers adorn the chest and wide silk straps that extend well down the back to add a very sexy element. Classic loose fit with side gores to add a fullness to the lower skirt. This lovely gown extends well below the knee to the mid calf and could easily transform into a one of a kind evening gown. Beautiful!

CONDITION :
Good/Very good: Completely wearable with strong, sturdy fabric. No holes or rips. This gown was amateurly homemade so is not perfect but adds a bit of nostalgia (in my opinion), with some overlapping in fabric and uneven areas. Well worn with several repairs. There are some age spots and marks throughout that hide fairly well due to the luster and folds.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
