This antique corset from the Edwardian era is a true relic that perfectly encapsulates the iconic silhouette of the era. Made by W.T. Sta-Bone from an ivory cotton coutil, beautifully adorned with a ruffled cotton eyelet frill. This beauty features darted inserts that cradle the underside of the bust and was thoughtful constructed to provide an S bend curve with a smooth front and exaggerated back. Era authentic lacing allows for the piece to cinch to the desired size. This corset fits over the upper hip and derriere. 4 garters with adjustable metal sliders that would have held up the wearers stockings. A wonderful, highly collectible piece of history.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
