This antique nightgown from the late Edwardian era is made from sheer silk in the palest shade of pink and is light as a feather. Absolutely stunning, with intricate Irish lace tracing the bodice and adding a lovely amount of depth and texture to this very sleek gown. With a loose shoulder and wide short sleeves, and a flattering empire waist that features a very fine yet highly detailed version of the lace in the upper portion. A long, wide skirt with beautiful hemstitching, falling to the floor and slightly trailing from behind. This ethereal night dress is sheer enough to provide subtle glimpses of the body hiding underneath, yet modest enough to not leave you feeling exposed. Perfectly feminine and complimentary to any body, and would make a lovely dress or display piece.
CONDITION - Excellent: no holes or rips. Fabric has thinned due to being over 100 years old, but is still incredibly strong and wearable due to it being such a high quality piece. There is one dark spot that looks like a smudge, very light and may lift.
