Antique 1910s dressing gown robe from the Edwardian era, made of a soft tea rose pink silky cotton with a high luster and lightweight. A very special museum-quality piece that is adorned with a gorgeous tulle faux shawl over the shoulders and ruffled edge of the sleeves. Darling little rosettes trace the waist and sleeves, with a ruched shoulder producing a lovely texture. Closing at the center chest and empire waist with two button snaps, completely open in the skirt and falling to the ankle.
Comes with a note saying 'Made for Martha Washington, 1915'
