This antique late Victorian to early Edwardian corset cover is a very delicate and beautiful relic from lingerie's past. Exquisitely made out of very sheer white tulle fabric with a wide, pale peach silk insert sewn over the bust area. A deep scoop neck with 1" wide straps and a lightly ruffled edge across the upper bodice, and rich lace insert over the lower bodice to add even more detail to such a lovely piece. Completely open on the sides with silk ribbon ties to close the cami at the waist makes this a very adaptable and unique collector item. A bare tulle back that is sleek to wear nicely under your favorite antique top or dress. This shows nicely for display and can still be worn if worn with care!

CONDITION - Very good: No holes, rips or stains to the tulle. Side tie ribbons are original and delicate. Could be replaced if intending to wear. Silk ribbon work has some splits and tears, but is sewn to the body of the cami making it secure, silk is not crumbly or 'falling off' if that makes sense.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
