Exquisitely beautiful, this antique Edwardian corset cover is made from very sheer white cotton lawn with floral chantilly lace adorning its entirety. With ruffled lace straps and center front opening, closing with lovely woven silk ribbons down the center and across the neckline and waist. Gathered fabric at the center makes this perfect for accentuating the bust under an S bend corset. Very unique and certainly made for a woman of high class, with intricate diamond lace at the waist to give even more detail to an already remarkable piece. This gorgeous cami displays wonderfully and is sturdy enough for wear.

CONDITION - Excellent: no holes, stains or rips. All ribbon work is original and very durable. A few discolorations from age with light staining at the underarms. I have washed this piece but did not treat the underarm area because of it's age.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
