This antique 1910s Edwardian chemise and drawers set is a very special and very rare collector's delight! Made of slightly sheer and very soft white cotton, with both pieces being adorned with gorgeous floral embroidered eyelet & valenciennes lace. An embroidered D monogram on the right upper side of each piece marks this as being owned by a person of wealth. The chemise fits nice and loosely, creating lush folds in the full tiered skirt, which falls to about the mid-shin. The drawers are fully adjustable, with a drawstring waist and completely open crotch, making these perfect for wearing under period appropriate corsets. Stunning Swiss dot lace ruffles edge the hems, with both pieces having placement for woven ribbon if you so choose to replace. A remarkable lingerie set with tons of detail!

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
