This antique 1910's Edwardian camisole is a delicate and very beautiful piece made of sheer champagne tissue silk. A square adjustable neckline with pale aqua blue straps, all adorned with stunning white chantilly scalloped lace that offers a nice ruffle when cinched. Loosely fitted, with a hem falling to the natural waist and hidden eye-hook closure. Remarkably sexy and perfect for the antique lingerie collector.

CONDITION :

Very good: Can be worn if worn with care. Several tiny pinholes with one larger hole at the left side, approximately the size of a pencil eraser. one straight tear at the center back. Some very faint discoloration at the underarm seams. Some crispness to the silk in a couple of areas which I am not sure what is from; feels similar to that of dried glue. Silk ribbon at the chest is too fragile for use. Can replace per request; left on for integrity of age.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
