This antique 1900s late Victorian to early Edwardian era corset was made in Spain and doesn't disappoint in detail. Made of crisp black cotton with a beautifully embroidered eyelet underbust adorned with lavender silk ribbon. The iconic hourglass shape with 22 steel bones, this corset rises slightly at the center chest and rests around the rib cage allowing for the bosom to rest freely. Center hook closure with rear lacing, with a low length covering the upper hip. Perfect for display, gentle wear, or for the collector!

CONDITION :

Excellent: Lovingly preserved. There is rusting to the front closure with some rust spots on the fabric. One hole in the eyelet, some color fading. Rear metal stays have a curve from wear, I am not sure if this is a flaw or not so mentioned for transparency.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
