This vintage 1940s nightgown by Lady Edso was made from a bright periwinkle blue rayon material. Bias cut with a ruffled lace flounce that covers the shoulders. A lovely deep keyhole neckline with a little satin bow at the center chest offers a subtle yet very sexy glimpse of skin. This darling gown flatters the wearer nicely with gathered detail at the underbust which provides a lifting effect, and a smooth waist panel to shape the figure. Ankle length with a low back, this gown is a classic style that is as elegant as it is sweet.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
