This vintage 1930s nightgown was made from a rich golden champagne silk satin material. Bias cut with a rare tie halter neck that leaves the back completely open. A deep V cut neckline and gathered bust paired with a sleek princess panel waist flatters the figure beautifully. A very wide ankle length skirt that drapes over the hip, creating bountiful folds and dramatic movement. This gown can be stepped into with ease thanks to the side metal Talon zip closure. A unique and incredibly enchanting gown.

Condition: hand washed and pressed. A very light mark on the skirt and slight denting to the silk in some areas. There are 2 small patches in the lower back of the skirt that were made from extra silk from the seam. Patches are secure and flexible with no stitching or bunching and hide well in the folds (last photo shows it at a distance to better scale actual size).
