This vintage late 1930s nightgown is very unique, made from an embroidered sheer ivory silk crepe bust and pearl white celanese satin with a phenomenally high luster,. Both fabrics are pulled together with a stunning mesh waist panel adorned with floral tambour embroidery. Bias cut with a rare tie halter neck that leaves the entire back completely open, with a dainty little glass button that closes the gown right above the derriere. A very sleek fit to the satin skirt that drapes beautifully beyond the hip. This darling gown is ankle length and can be stepped into with ease or slipped on overhead. A unique and incredibly enchanting gown.
