This 1910's Edwardian evening gown was made from a black silk satin material and features gorgeous coppor colored beadwork that accentuates the chest and wrap style skirt. A true Empire Revival gown with a gathered empire waist that gives a gorgeous Art Nouveau allure. Waist tape with stays shape the waist and provide structure, with a slim fit through the hip and skirt that elongates the figure. This stunning gown falls just above the ankle, with two layers of closure for added protection; eye-hooks down the white silk inner layer and external black silk. A wonderful collectors piece that is completely wearable.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
