This late 1910's Edwardian day dress was made from a sheer, crisp white organdy material. Absolutely lovely, with wide long sleeves pinching at the wrist with scalloped lace cuffs that cover the upper palm of the hand. A gathered cotton tulle insert over the center bodice framed in complementary scalloped lace, and darling embroidered flowers that circle around the waist and hem. Designed for comfort, this dress is loose in the bodice with an easy to wear 27 inch waist. A wide skirt with pleating at the hip and long hem that falls just above the ankles. A perfect example of transition from the Edwardian era into the early 1920's.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
