This antique 1910s to very early 1920s cusp nightgown was made from a light melon pink silk crepe material. A gorgeous crochet lace yoke and little caplet sleeves, with a row of intricate raised flowers around the chest that offers texture and a bit of luxury. A silk ribbon drawstring cinches the neckline for some adjustability, as well as around the armholes yet sewn into ribbon work rosettes for added flair. Loose in fit with an ankle length hem, with attached silk ribbons to cinch the waist to your liking. A very unique and rare gown from the era that has never been worn.

Condition: Unworn, but has been and washed and pressed. A few tiny pin sized holes and some marks that I was unable to lift with gentle treatment.

Fit Notes: Crochet yoke is fully adjustable so you can wear slightly off shoulder or round. Pay attention to coi (where sleeve connects to gown) as it is relatively narrow. Gown is fitted in sleeves and chest, completely loose in the body.
