This vintage 1950s robe by Fruit of the Loom was made from lush, periwinkle chenille, perfect for these cooler months. A perfect pinup style with a flattering slim cut through the bodice and long wide sleeves that give a fun appeal to the robe. A sweet, wide circle cut skirt that falls below the knee to about mid-lower calf. This robe closes at the waist with a long removable sash tie. Very comfortable without sacrificing style!

CONDITION :
Excellent: no holes, rips, or missing tufts of chenille. There is some fading and a very light age spot. Most significantly, there are a few black spots at the center back. The largest is about the size of a half-dollar. These hide under the sash.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
