Vintage 1950s wrap style robe by RK Originals made from lush black rayon velvet. Very sleek with a bias cut and tailored shoulder, slim through the hip which all flatters the figure beautifully. A deep V-cut neckline with sleeves falling just below the elbow, both edged in silky pearlescent white satin. This ultra-glam piece closes with hidden buttons in the skirt and eye-hook closure at the waist, with a removable sash tie to cinch the waist. A rhinestone buckle adds a nice touch! This lovely gem could have originally been worn as a dress but screams loungewear just the same. Wear it as you please!

CONDITION :
Excellent: One 'rough spot' on the top of the shoulder where the velvet tuft is worn but is not a hole, and two on the belt where the velvet is a bit dented. Some tiny age spots on the white satin. The rhinestone buckle is incredibly flexible, oddly so. All rhinestones are present.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
