This vintage 1940s to early 1950s bathrobe was made from a lush peach candlewick chenille, with decorative deep sienna floral scrolls adornments. A beautiful style, flattering the figure with a fitted bodice and wrist-length wide, belled sleeves. This robe closes at the waist with an attached sash tie, with a flirty A-line skirt that falls well below the knee. A very unique style that is perfect for the pinup boudoir!

CONDITION :
Very good: Washed and steamed with no missing tufts. Chenille is still 'fluffy' and bold in color. There is one mend at the seam of one underarm. One fray spot at the neckline, one very small purple spot at the hem, and very faint yellowing at the seam of one underarm that I nearly missed.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
