Vintage 1930s robe hand-stitched and made of light peach silk with a high luster that plays beautifully with the light. A tambour embroidered tulle collar with a raw ruffled edge gives a nice bit of flair, with wide sleeves falling a few inches below the elbow adding a very glamorous touch. Slinky in fit with a flattering drape, closing with a button snap at the side and a removable sash tie to cinch the waist. An inner tie prevents shifting allowing for easy wear.

CONDITION :

Very good: Never worn but was soaked and steamed, there is one tiny hole in the lace, a few marks on the sash, and some darning on the upper left shoulder to mend a few tears from it spending too much time on a wire hanger. Mend is completely unnoticeable as it hides under the lace collar. Fabric is still strong and can be worn with ease.

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
