This vintage 1930s peignoir set has never been worn and is delightfully unique in style. Made of ultra sheer black rayon chiffon that hides just enough while still providing a titillating view. Both the nightgown and robe feature elaborate white embroidery across the bodice, bias cut and stunningly draped thanks to the slinky lightweight material. The robe has wide bishop sleeves with a tie cinch wrist, an open fit through the center with eyehook closure and a long sash tie to cinch the waist. The nightgown offers a deep V cut neck and back, with ruched detail at the underbust to provide a bit of shape and gathering that flatters the form. A very sexy lingerie set from the era of decadence!

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
