This vintage 1930s 1940s peignoir set was made from bias cut pearly white rayon satin that glistens beautifully due to its high luster. The peignoir robe features short princess puffed sleeves and a gorgeous open front, closing at the waist with satin covered buttons. The nightgown has a sweetheart neckline and deep V back, with sewn in ties to cinch the waist to your liking. Both pieces are adorned with nude floral lace, with the hem falling to the ankle and a slight train adding a bit of glam to the robe. Perfect for a bridal trousseau, special nights or just because.

A Note on Buying Vintage
A Note on Buying Vintage
This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:
• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina
These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.
Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
