Vintage 1950's Girdle | Powder Pink Cotton with Satin Bow Damask & Boning | Original Sarong | Size MED, LG
A very sexy 1950s girdle by the original Sarong brand! This beautiful girdle is made of a pale powder pink cotton rayon blend with a gorgeous satin damask pattern of flowers and bows over the front panel. Very shaping, with a total of 5 bones to support the abdomen, sides and lower back. This original design features the staple sarong bottom with overlapping fabric to give comfort as well as coverage to the wearer, a style that was copied by several brands in the era. Sitting very high with a wide, soft elastic waist. Wide elastic panels and a firm satin rear panel provides a gorgeous silhouette promoting curves and a sleek appeal that hides beautifully beneath your day wear. Side closure consisting of a row of eye-hooks and an outer zipper to protect your clothing and give a seamless look. 4 short trolley garter clasps hold your stockings high on the thigh making this perfect for shorter dresses and skirts.
CONDITION - Excellent: This girdle does not appear to have been worn or was worn very lightly, with no holes, stains or rips. There is one age spot on the inner lining near the hem, and I have tugged and pulled to ensure that the elastic is still durable. Lots of life in this baby!
