Vintage 1950's Corselette | Black Power Mesh & Satin with Nude Inlay under Lace | Lady Marlene | Size 35 B, 36 C
This 1950s corselette by Lady Marlene is a classic style in a rare all in one girdle foundation. Made of stretchy black power mesh with a darling nude chiffon inlay hidden under gorgeous embroidered lace. This all in one girdle is a strapless style with unlined lightly darted cups, adorned with woven ribbon across the top and underwire support wrapped in satin. Long flexible metal bones tuck and sculpt the figure, with black satin in the front and over the derriere to smooth and add a sultry-vixen touch. A deep V cut back hides beautifully under tops and dresses, with center eye-hook and zipper closure for ease of wear. 6 trolley garters hold your stockings up high on the thigh to keep from unsightly sagging. A gorgeous lingerie piece with a very sweet feminine touch!
CONDITION - Very good-excellent: no holes, rips or mends. This has been washed but there is some patina on the black satin over the underwire and age spotting on the chiffon inlay and ribbon. Elastic is still very stretchy but mesh has thinned a bit due to age and wear. No rot or crispness. All garters in very healthy, flexible, strong condition. Lots of life still in this beauty!
