A very rare 1940s nightgown by short-lived lingerie company, Carillon. Made of a very silky ivory acetate nylon blend fabric that feels very much like 'cold rayon'. With fluted sleeves and completely edged in deep ecru lace, this bias cut beauty is very fit and flattering with a slinky drape through the hip. What makes this gown truly special are the little embroidered burlesque dancers that adorn the upper bodice. Made perfect with little ruffled lace skirt appliques and stitched fishnets, making this the cutest little night dress in a collection. With a floor length hem that is slightly ruffled, and a large burlesque dancer in the center panel where a kick pleat would normally be. This gem is surely a collector piece that has never been worn and remained beautifully cared for. Gorgeous!
