Vintage 1940's Girdle | Creamy Nude Knit with Pink Satin Damask & Side Corset Lacing | Size S, M | Vanity

Out of Stock

This vintage 1940s girdle by Vanity is a nice heavy weight piece providing structure and a gorgeous silhouette. Made of thick rayon and cotton blend knit with stretchy elastic that fits snuggly around the figure. Sitting high on the waist, with a beautiful pink satin damask front panel that includes wide metal stays to flatten and support the abdomen. A very unique and sexy piece of shapewear, with corset lacing up the sides to possibly accommodate a growing tummy, with satin damask strips to give a subtle yet very sweet bit of adornment from all angles. 4 sewn in trolley garters that hold your stocking up high, making this a great piece for skirts and dresses of all lengths.

Very good: Girdle itself in excellent vintage condition. Elastic knit fabric is very sturdy without rot, still retains an excellent stretchy while still being firm enough to shape the figure. No holes or rips. The very top of the pink satin panel has darkened from wear. Trolley garters are strong but have lost all but 1/2 inch of stretch, clasps are stained but still of good use. Could be used, cut off and/or replaced.
