This 1940s dressing gown robe is sure to make you feel like you walked right out of an old Hollywood movie. Made of luscious pale rose rayon satin charmeuse that has a beautiful high luster and density that drapes adoringly along the curves. Lovely floral embroidered tambour lace traces the neckline and front overlap, wrapping around the back and ending in just the right place to give a cascade-like appeal. Shoulder pads give the classic 40s darted silhouette with lightly belled sleeves edged in lace, stopping just above the elbows. Exquisitely flattering, with tailored stitching on the back to give a sleek and slender look, while not hiding the curve of your derriere. Floor length with an enormous sweep and a 4" train in the back, gracing you as you walk and creating stunning texture and shadows when relaxed. A great addition to any vintage collection, and easily transforms into a sleek and sophisticated evening gown.
