This late 1930s to early 1940s handmade dressing gown is made from bright coral pink acetate fabric with beautiful multi colored pastel thread embroidery covering the entire body. Bias cut with darling princess puff sleeves and pin tucking at the waist to flatter the figure. This house dress zips up the front with a metal zipper, and has an adjustable slider belt in the back. A wide floor length skirt with a 98 inch sweep gives lots of movement and grace to your leisure. This robe has everything needed to make you feel like a princess!
CONDITION - Good: There is some minor discoloration throughout the robe due to age, and a few missing threads in the embroidery. The underarms are reinforced with two layers, but there is some wear on the outer layer on both sides that could easily be mended. Inner layer is excellent, no holes! One mend on the top right shoulder. There are several pinholes at the hem that are difficult to see without close inspection. Priced accordingly. See photos!
