This 1940s dressing gown is as sweetly feminine as a little robe can be. Made of silky rayon satin in a creamy shade of white, with a beautiful pastel floral pattern. Very flattering with a darling ruffled yoke collar and slightly darted short sleeves. This darling gown has a gathered bias cut bodice that drapes beautifully, with two sewn in ties to pull forward and tie at the waist. An open hip and flowing skirt, which falls below the knee to about mid-calf, and a smooth backside giving a stunning silhouette. There is a fairly large pocket with a ruffled trim on the left hip for trinkets, and an inner tie that keeps the robe from shifting. This piece is quite similar to many of the iconic styles by Radcliffe, but is quite unique in its design and length. A superb collector peignoir suitable for any wardrobe, and could easily make a very lovely wrap dress when worn with a good slip and foundation wear.
