This vintage 1940s corset girdle was made with quality and style in mind. A light pink quilted cotton outer layer with a gorgeous floral satin damask pattern, edged with silky satin across the waist and adorned with a delicate lace trim for added flair. This corset sits above the waist for a seamless transition from flesh to fabric, with a higher placement on the back for structure and support. There are 12 wide steel bones along the back and 3 thin flexible bones in the front, allowing for a perfect posture and a stunning hourglass silhouette. Brass eyelets and long lacing placed in the front allow for easy fitting, with a rounded seat and elastic mesh side panels to give a comfortable bit of flex. Made for comfort, with satin lining and lush pink velvet to protect the skin. A very unique piece!

A Note on Buying Vintage

This is an antique or early vintage garment made from delicate materials such as silk, fine cotton, lace, or early synthetics. These textiles may display signs consistent with age, which includes:

• natural fiber fatigue
• gentle thinning at stress points
• subtle irregularities inherent to early manufacturing
• age-related softness or patina

These qualities are authentic to historic garments and are considered part of their character, not defects, unless otherwise stated.

Notable flaws, such as excessive wear, stains, holes, or rips will always be photographed and disclosed in the condition notes.
