This vintage 1930s pajama set by Peggy Mandis was completely stitched by hand, made from a pale peach silk with a floral satin jacquard print throughout. Bias cut with stunning scalloped detail edged with pink silk satin piping throughout. The top features a deep V cut neckline with fluttery petal like sleeves. Pintuck detail at the waist with little pockets adds a sweet touch. Attached ties cinch the waist with a little looped satin adornment at the center back for a bit of decor at all angles. The pants sit high with adjustable button closure at both sides of the waist. Ankle length with very wide 31 inch length openings that create a bit of drama upon movement.

Condition: Very nicely preserved and in strong wearable condition. Some green oxidation stains around the button snaps and in one spot on the back of the pants which is covered by the top when worn. A small cluster of tiny pin holes on one of the sleeves. Very faint (almost invisible) foxing on one area of the top.
