This vintage 1930s nightgown by Jean Lindsay of Shanghai. Made of rich bone white silk charmeuse fabric with a luxurious weight and luster, which molds to the figure exquisitely. The entire front and back of the bodice is adorned with intricate embroidery and applique, all of which completely done by hand. A perfect cut and drape that flatters every curve, with long straps sewn at the sides to cinch the waist to your desired fit. This gown meets the floor with a long scalloped hem, embroidered at the edge adding a subtle yet elegant touch. This hand crafted high end piece is an excellent collector gem for the lingerie collector, also transforms into a perfect formal or one of a kind wedding gown.

CONDITION :

Excellent: no holes, rips, or significant stains. Two very faint age spots on the bodice and one on the hip. Silk has a few spots of thinning, but fabric is thick enough to still wear with ease.
