This 1930s lingerie set consists of a lovely bias cut slip, bralette, and tap pants. Completely hand sewn and incredibly decadent in detail, made of smooth ivory silk charmeuse with ecru embroidered lace appliques. The slip has adjustable straps and beautifully elaborate, sheer floral appliqued lace across the bodice. Crafted with great skill, featuring a center seam giving a stunning draped fit. Falling below the knee with a scalloped hem and a little peephole in the back closing with a silk covered button. The bralette has slender non-adjusting straps and rear button closure, with gorgeous darted cups double lined across the bottom of each cup to offer additional shaping and support. The tap pants have a high hand-rolled waist and a loose hip, with double button closure at the right side. Slinky and flattering with fluttery hems and exquisite lace godets in the sides to fully bring the set together, with a wide diamond gusset crotch for comfort. A wonderful set that is perfect for a bridal trousseau, being innocently sexy yet highly elegant for a person with a taste for luxury.
CONDITION - Excellent-mint : Never worn and in its original gift box. Box has a few marks and scratches, but the set is near perfect condition. I found two very faint, tiny marks on the slip that may come out with a good soak.
